Watertight, Airtight and
Dustproof
The Neoprene perimeter O-Ring seal makes our cases completely watertight, airtight
and dustproof. Our cases are subjected to a 24 hour submersion test in order to meet this feature, and are certified MIL-STD 810F 512.4 and
ingress protection codes 6,7.

Seahorse cases are manufactured to exceed MIL STDs of 400 Lbs stacking, drop test at 48

Auto-Purge
System
Our cases are
watertight and airtight.
Seahorse cases incorporate our foolproof Auto-Purge System. Our Pressure Release
Purge Valve guarantees a perfect seal by incorporating its own O-Ring under one of the latches. You will never forget to set the valve
since it automatically activates when closing the case. Pressure is released as you open the latch.
The Auto-Purge System allows for the case to function
even when utilizing the Seahorse Waterproof Panel Kit . This is
a critical feature when using the panels for mounting instrumentation.

Non-Magnetic Without
Optional Metal Locks
Seahorse SE and SX cases contain no metal and are non-magnetic except when equipped with metal locks on the latches.

Padlock Holes
Each case has two molded-in padlock holes to secure your valuables. Our padlock holes will accept "TSA" and most standard padlocks. There is
room to easily lock and unlock them.

Accuform
Foam
Accuform Foam is
vertically pre-scored, high-density foam that is easily formed to provide
a snug fit that protects your equipment from the abuse of your toughest
adventure. Accuform Foam in
Seahorse cases is a removable, cubed matrix foam set, consisting of a
layer of egg-crate foam in the lid, a thick cubed foam center and
a ½ thick, high density shock absorbing foam
bottom layer.

Padded Divider
Sets (Available only with SE520, SE720, SE920,
SE1220)
Seahorse padded dividers sets consist of thickly padded, velcro lined divider walls that are adjustable to an infinite
variety of configurations, allowing you
to provide various sized compartments to protect your valuable
equipment.
All
Seahorse protective cases are also available empty, or with die-cut
foam.

Rustproof
Seahorse Cases
are made entirely of space age polypropylene co-polymer and PVC and
ABS. There is no metal used in manufacturing or construction of the
cases that would allow rust or corrosion.
Our cases can
safely be exposed and submerged in seawater or left in the rain. The
pins for the hinges, handles and latches are all made of Acetyl resin,
which offers excellent lubricity and will not be affected by extreme
temperatures. Acetyl resin will never rust or
corrode.

Chemical Resistant
- SE Series (HURRICANE
Series) cases are molded of polypropylene co-polymer
resin
- SX Series (EXTREME Series) with rigid PVC, and ABS.
Both versions offer
excellent chemical resistance to oils, fuels and solvents.

Non-Magnetic without
Optional metal locks
There is no metal used in
manufacture.

UV
Resistant
All Seahorse
cases are molded with a UV stabilizer, making them ultraviolet resistant.
This will prevent the plastic from becoming brittle if left in the sun for
extended periods of time. Loss of color pigmentation is prevented by
a UV protection additive used within the co-polymer.

Latch Locks
You have a choice of Keyed Metal or Plastic Locks,
built into the latches.
Metal locks are made entirely of chromed steel and
keyed.
Plastics locks are molded of ABS resin, one of the
toughest co-polymers available

Panel Kits
The Seahorse Panel Kits are used when specific equipment needs to be kept protected even when the case is open. These two plates are made of .063 brushed aluminum and include screws, one perimeter gasket and O-Rings for the screws to waterproof the bottom portion of your case.
The top panel is not watertight. Both panels can have custom cutouts machined by
us according to your specifications. The cutouts are used to install
electronic readouts, buttons, switches and other control and monitoring
devices.
